BagiBon (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the BagiBon website and the BagiBon mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide or generate when using the App:

• Receipt images and data: When you scan a receipt with the App, we process the image (camera or photo library) to extract items and amounts. This data is used to create and manage bill-splitting sessions you share via link or QR code.
• Session data: Items, amounts, and split choices for your sessions are stored as needed to provide the service (e.g. so participants can view and settle their share).

Automatically collected information (mobile App):

• Usage and device information: The App may store locally how many scans you have used and tokens earned (e.g. from watching rewarded ads), to enforce scan limits and offer extra scans.
• Advertising: When you choose to watch a rewarded ad to earn extra scan tokens, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect or use device identifiers and usage data to show relevant ads and measure performance. 2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide receipt scanning, bill splitting, and sharing (links, QR codes) in the App and on the website.
• Enforce scan limits and deliver rewarded ad experiences when you choose to watch an ad for extra scans.
• Improve our services and fix issues.
• Comply with applicable law and protect our rights and users’ safety.

3. Third-party services

We use Google AdMob in the mobile App to show rewarded video ads (only when you tap “Watch ad” to earn extra scans). AdMob may collect device and usage data as described in their privacy policy. We do not control data collected by third-party ad networks.

4. Data retention and storage

Session and receipt-related data are retained as long as needed to provide the service (e.g. so participants can access a shared session). You can stop using a session or the App at any time. Locally stored data (e.g. scan usage and tokens) stays on your device and is not sent to our servers for that purpose.

5. Your choices and rights

You can choose not to use the camera or photo library, or not to watch rewarded ads (in which case you are subject to the free scan limit). Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold.

6. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App or website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
